Logan recently had his first day of nursery. Let's just say it isn't going so well. Adam was easy and he is hard. Billy or I have to spend the entire 2 hours in there with him and even then he checks to make sure we are still in the room, if he doesn't see you right away he starts to cry. I'm not sure what we're going to do. I hope it gets better....
Excited to go to nursery:) At least he looks cute thanks to some hand-me-downs from Sam. 1 0'clock church not exactly the easiest for napping.
Adam had his last day of Preschool this week. He LOVES preschool and would always be so excited to go. I don't know what we'll do without preschool this summer, he is going to be sad. I had the kids decorate a shirt with their faces. They got to decorate each shirt with their own face. I thought they turned out pretty cute.

We have 3 months until Ellie is old enough for nursery and I'm already worried we are going to get a similar reaction. You'll have to give me some pointers when you figure out what works!

How cute!and how relatable. I could never get any of my kids to go easily! Sam took until he was 2- then as soon as he would stay they called me in! Go figure.
I love seeing Logan in Sam's old clothes-- especially the ones I loved the most-- glad to see they are stilling going to good cute use.

Jessica was a breeze; she was glad to see us go, I think. Jacob cried some, but I basically just asked the nursery people to really try to not bring him to me if possible, even if it meant that he cried for awhile, unless they absolutely had to. I figured that was the only way he'd learn. Well, they were good about working with him, fortunately, and he really didn't have too much of a problem for too long. So it worked with him, but I do worry quite a bit about how it will be with Matthew. We've still got until November (although our ward here may take him sooner because it's so small, if I can get him to do it), but he's very clingy so I'm nervous he's going to have a really hard time with it, especially being nap time and all. K I can totally relate...Annie has been in nursery for over a month and Mike has to stay in there the WHOLE time...it can't be me or there is more excessive crying! I don't know what to do...truly we are the only parents that have to stay the entire time! Let me know if something works...Hope he adjusts soon!
we had problems with Connor going to nursery too! But fortunately for us, we had some AMAZING nursery leaders in there at the time. One of them would make it a point to say hi to Connor before Church started. Then they asked me to just leave him there. They said if they couldn't calm him down, they'd find me or Tom. It took about 6 weeks and now he thinks nursery is the greatest place on Earth to be!!
